The instruction in this program is very good as far as technique is concerned. However, Jamorama’s focus is more on reading tab than reading music, which may be a problem for the student that is also interested in music theory. If your main interest is to learn to play basic songs with less emphasis on music theory, this aspect of the program will not be an issue.
